چکیده
Abstract Background A calcified amorphous tumour (CAT) is a non-neoplastic mass lesion arising within the cardiac chamber. CATs are rare but common cause of organ embolism. In present study, we experienced case an intracardiac with calcification that, in contrast to typical CAT, suddenly appeared and rapidly expanded without inflammatory response based on pathological findings. Case summary 58-year-old Japanese man undergoing peritoneal haemodialysis had high-echoic mobile (15 × 6 mm), which was not visible transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) approximately month earlier, left ventricular outflow tract noted TTE performed during close examination for fever. Although multiple blood cultures were negative, ampicillin/sulbactam ceftriaxone initially administered because suspected culture-negative endocarditis. The enlarged (22 5 mm) over following days. CAT resected imaging findings calcification; however, did indicate inflammation fibrin that typically found CATs. Echocardiography 12 months after resection showed no recurrence. Discussion This tissue several similar features CAT. However, initial presentation, enlargement rate, differed from it unknown whether this subtype when detected using test, careful follow-up or early surgical should be considered given possibility rapid embolism caused by mass.

Intracardiac Thrombus in Renovascular Hypertension: A Case Report
Thromboembolism is a rare complication of primary nephortic syndrome. Both venous and arterial thrombosis might occur in steroid responsive and steroid resistant nephrotic syndrome. This is the report of an infant with nephrotic syndrome and renovascular hypertension, complicated with asymptomatic intracardiac thrombus and managed appropriately with medical treatment.

Splenic cysts, in general, are Infrequently encountered in medical practice. Among these, calcified cysts are extremely rare. Harmer and Chalmers,’ in a review of the literature to 1946, reported a total of 163 splenic cysts of all types. Our comprehensive review of medical publications revealed only 31 cases of calcified splenic cyst on record to date : Fowler2 reported 7 cases ; Foldes,3 Gate...
متن کاملSpontaneous Resolution of Symptomatic Thoracic Spine Calcified Disc Herniation: A Case Report and Literature Review
Calcification of intervertebral disc (IVD) is an uncommon but well-defined clinical syndrome in children. Despite its benign nature, occasionally, calcified nucleus pulposus can herniate into the spinal canal. We report an interesting case of calcified disc herniation in the thoracic spine. Although it resulted in cord compression and syrinx formation, it well responded to conservative manageme...
